Evo Events UK

I worked with Paul, the founder of Football-Evolution, to build a site Evo Events as another start-up business.

What is Evo Events? 
Put simply: Evo Events is the place of fun activities such as FootGolf, Zorbs as well as 5/6-A-Sidefootball.

What was the main goal of this project ?
To allow people get in touch & organize special events (Stags / Hen-Do’s),  team building day, fun games,  birthday parties etc. Whatever the the event, Evo Events is the place to be.

Some features of the website needed to include:

• Responsive design (To automaticall adjust to any mobile device screen size)
• News Blog: (For future news articles, if need be.)
• Social Media Intergration (Can switch from static to interactive)
• Future Gallery Support (If self-uploading direct to the site.)
• Interactive Galleries pulled from social media sites such as: Instagram, Youtube, etc..

Other developments included:

• Set up custom contact email addresses (eg. hello@website.co.uk, etc…)
• Set separate mail hosting/mail-servers with other associated business tools
• Migrate the old hosting to a better UK hosting company (faster loading site.)
• Ensure the website also works 100% on small screens  (Phones , Tablets etc..)
• Website designed to contain 3 colours (orange, red, white – similar to Honda Repsol Racing)
• DNS support to ensure emails , are passed through another host (to ensure delivery on devices also)
• Social media accounts (@evo-events) are linked to the site.
• Made sure the backend doesn’t need 24/7 maintenance, as some stuff is automated!
• Few misc. tweaks to the backend.
